Simplifying the Scheduling Process

CHALLENGE

A luxury beach resort in Southeast Florida (and one of the top-performing Marriott properties in the United States) had a lot of trouble creating a consistent entertainment schedule. Entertainment at this property is extensive with 20+ performances occurring per week across multiple outlets. Multiple departments, including F&B and Recreation would book musicians without internal coordination. This often led to double-bookings for the same time slot, creating a lot of stress for hotel managers, negative guest experiences, and wasted entertainment budget.

SOLUTION

The hotel engaged MHW Live Music to manage its entire entertainment program. MHW provides a single point of contact and a cloud-based Live Calendar, which ensures that all team members are on the same page with the entertainment schedule. MHW Live Music is now the hotel’s sole vendor for live entertainment, and the hotel receives one itemized invoice for the month, covering their entire program.
