Reducing F&B Managers’ Workload

CHALLENGE

An award-winning luxury beach resort in Southwest Florida with more than 500 performances per year used to book individual musicians directly. This placed an immense burden on the F&B department, who had to not only do their main jobs but also allocate time and energy to function as a makeshift “entertainment department” for the resort. The burden of managing the program internally was estimated at 20+ hours per month.

SOLUTION

The resort outsourced the management of its entire entertainment program to MHW Live Music. MHW functions as a bolt-on Entertainment Department, handling all of the logistical work related to entertainment booking. Because of MHW’s expertise in entertainment and hospitality the quality and consistency of the activations has also improved. Hotel Management now spends only 15 minutes per month approving their upcoming schedule, and MHW takes care of the rest.
