CHALLENGE

An award-winning beachfront resort in Hilton Head, was managing their own entertainment program in-house. They struggled to get individual musicians to submit their invoices on-time in the correct format. Given the large scope of their entertainment program, this forced the accounting team to spend hours each week chasing down invoices.  Some musicians also insisted on receiving cash payment at the end of their performances, which was not possible for the hotel.

SOLUTION

The hotel outsourced the management of their entertainment program to MHW Live Music. MHW sends the hotel one itemized invoice per month, covering the entire program. This has reduced administrative burden on the hotel’s accounting department by an estimated 12 hours per month.
